The Alpha Course has been alive and well at East Hills over the past
month and a half.
Seven table groups have been meeting in the Community Room every Monday evening to share a meal together, watch a video lesson about a particular foundation of the Christian faith, and then process the lesson together in small groups. It’s been exciting as table leaders have shared with me how people in their groups are opening up more and more to faith in Jesus through the series. Other group members have been growing in knowledge of key truths of the Christian faith, leading to deeper relationship with God. Still others have had challenging questions answered in a way that has helped them clear hurdles on the track to faith. God has been moving in hearts and minds through the Alpha series.
Please continue to pray for the Alpha participants; that God would enlighten people with the truth each week, and that this experience would continue to be spiritually impact- ing. I also wanted to extend a special thank you to each person who has helped provide the Alpha meals. Each meal has been wonderfully unique, providing a great opportunity for Alpha participants to connect deeper with one another over dinner.
